Hey everyone!

Thanks for the warm welcome. I am currently working on another long format post about how I became an artist for those interested.

Meanwhile I wanted to give an update on Crossfox things for those of you not on social media.

As you may have noticed, I updated the release date on the index page of the site weeks ago. This is because we have an international trip coming up and I wanted to be sure of my schedule. If you have not already noticed, the next release date is set for August 15th at 5pm eastern standard time.

This collection mostly consists of warm weather items as it’s incredibly steamy in Pgh

However there is also another run of the newly revamped Cocoon hoodies which I’m finishing today. I’m considering reds, let me know your thoughts on dye choices!

I also got some cool toned cotton fabrics for those who requested them.

What I’m most excited about though is several items made in 2 different types of rib! (No, not the Sentinel but I promise I will bring them back!) without revealing too much prematurely (some things aren’t finished!) I wanted to give you a behind the scenes peek at one of two ribbed legging batches because these turned out so unique! The sort of batch that makes me say WHOAH, ok… how did that even happen?

The main reason I switched from made to order to ready to ship (nearly 10 years ago mind you) was because dyes can be so unpredictable! I literally stopped even measuring anything because it was so frustrating not getting the desired result. Trying to recreate results actually prevented me from stumbling on magic moments like this. Although I understand it can be frustrating missing out on one of these unicorn batches, I’m lucky that most of you understand and appreciate this is how I operate best. And I will continue to create unicorns as long as you want me to.

I am currently on the home stretch in the studio, and then I will spend a couple days photographing everything. Since the pandemic I have been in a groove of photographing everything on myself because once again it allows me the greatest freedom. Sometimes I roll out of bed and decide it’s photo shoot day based on the weather or my mood. However I think this blog would also be an excellent place to showcase customer photos which can help visualize how the clothes fit on different shapes.
