Winter Mini Drop

Hey everybody! I just wanted to drop in to talk about my mini drop which is happening tomorrow at 1 PM Eastern standard time.

This will be my last offering before I take a late break in alignment with the lunar new year to recharge my batteries.

This collection includes some very special pieces which I was lucky enough to be able to take my time creating. I think I came up with some really unique results. Although they are unlike anything I’ve made with a Crossfox label on it before, they strongly harken back to my pre-Crossfox creations which utilized a lot of interesting trims and tidbits picked up along my adventures. There are also rivet details which echo my 2012/13 OG hoodie dresses from my very first Crossfox collections.

I have some other pictures in mind that I will share with you once I have recovered an old photo account- I miss the days of being able to dig through Textile mill remnants and abandoned houses for the most unique and intriguing materials. And I love being able to bring some of this more whimsical style into my current work.

If you have looked at the shop you have probably noticed that the two cocoon hoodies will be offered separately via eBay auctions. If you have followed me on eBay you will get an alert when the listings go live, otherwise I plan to post the links to the listings probably u no right before the rest of the Collection drops.

The rest of the collection is also seriously special, with tons of extra details and playful experiments. Although you may see these motifs reappear I am not putting pressure on myself to recreate anything beyond what I feel called to do creatively.

After this Collection I will be stepping away from sewing with the rhythm of the lunar year to celebrate another year, relax with my husband and enjoy our 10th anniversary of being together. I also plan on going on lots of hikes with my dogs and pet my cat and enjoy the last of the dark and slower months of the year before gearing up for spring again.
